Villa Hygge at Schleswiger Straße 3 is only about 400 metres from the Schlei. The picturesque harbour of Kappeln with its historic herring smokehouses, fishing cutters and sailing boats is reachable in a few minutes on foot. The Schlei promenade, St. Nicholas Church and the shopping street are all within walking distance.

No – Villa Hygge is a historic town villa on dry land in Kappeln. The listed period building at Schleswiger Straße 3 is in the centre of Kappeln, only 400 metres from the Schlei. It features classic townhouse architecture with high ceilings, stucco and wooden floors – quite different from our houseboats at Olpenitz Resort. Kappeln is one of the most charming harbour towns in Schleswig-Holstein: the unique herring smokehouses right at the harbour, the Schlei promenade, Windmill Amanda (directly next to the villa), the historic St. Nicholas Church and numerous cafés and restaurants invite you to explore. Weidefeld Beach at Olpenitz Resort is 15 minutes away. From Kappeln, Flensburg (45 min) and Denmark (60 min) are easily reachable.
